With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Aday of Irving, Texas, born in Luling, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2026 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleburne Thomas Sutton and Lillie Mae Laird Sutton; her husband Charles Delaney Aday; her daughter Kay Lynn McBride; and her siblings, Jo Gail Phillips, Jack Bland Sutton and Clyde "Shorty" Wayland.
She is survived by: her sisters, Eva Mae Maultsby and Peggy Joy Jones; her sons, Jimmy Ray McBride and Kenneth DeWayne McBride Sr.; her grandchildren, Brandy Lynn McBride, Kenneth DeWayne McBride Jr. and Bobbie Kay Aday; and her great grandchildren, James Salvador McBride, Victoria Mariana McBride, Grace Elizabeth McBride and Cierra Coleman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
