She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Maggie Lanier (Taylor) and Jackson Lanier; her husband John F. Hamilton; and her daughter Janet Todd. She is survived by: her son John Randall Hamilton, Sr. (Dennette); and her grandchildren, John Randall Hamilton, Jr. (Jenifer), Cory Todd and Justin Todd (Sandy). She is also survived by six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors (2495 Corsicana Hwy, Hillsboro, TX 76645). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors (201 N Bosque St, Whitney, TX 76692). A burial was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM at the Itasca Cemetery.
