She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Whitfield and Pauline Whitfield (Miller) of Itasca, Texas.; her siblings, Ernest Edward Whitfield, Jeannine Allen (Whitfield) and Merlin Miller Whitfield; and her grandson David Wayne Brackin.
She is survived by: her sons, David Wesley Brackin (Karen) of Itasca and Regi Wayne Brackin (Sandra) of Arlington; her grandchildren, Alaina Sue Aday (Jeff) of Midlothian and Michael Scott Brackin (Hannah) of Madisonville; her great grandchildren, Gillian Rose Gardner (Langston) of College Station, Farryn Nicole Aday, Hannah Ruth Brackin, Adalynn Paige Aday, Kase Michael Brackin, Katie Hill Brackin, Myles Wayne Brackin, Macey Rose Brackin, Beau Wesley Brackin and Becky Lee Brackin; and her granddaughter-in-law Martha Ruth Brackin (Waters). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Walnut Street Baptist Church of Hillsboro, Texas.
