In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Doris had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Doris may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Treadaway and Ruth Treadaway; her husband Billy Gene Nix; and her son Perry Joe Nix. She is survived by: her children, Vicki Nix of McKinney, Chris Nix of McCook, Donald Nix of Whitesboro, Pamela Sawisky of Nederland and Tammy Alford of Wichita Kansas; and her sister Jo Nell Bennet of Tuttle, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren and 32 Great-Grand Children.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sappington Chapel Cemetery.
