He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin "Jack" Jackson Gallaway and Vivian Hazel Gallaway (Davidson); his daughter Debra Shiflet; and his siblings, Marjorie, Mildred, Elvin and Donald.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Gallaway (Susan) of Cuero and Darrell Gallaway of Trinity; and his sisters, Barbara Maxine Harvey of Ivanhoe and Sandra Kay Morgan (Rod) of Woodville. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren.
