He was predeceased by: his parents, Quenton Owen and May Owen (Webb); his wife Carrol Lea Ross; his children, Deanna, Dianna and James; and his siblings, Phillip, Homer, Dave, Paul, Juanita Turnbow and Othella Bryant.
He is survived by: his daughter Leann (Bobby Mercer); and his grandchildren, Brandon (Holly), Ally and Aiden. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Concerned Citizens of Jacksboro in his honor.
