He is survived by: his wife Janis Rumage; his sons, Bryan Besselaar (Tina) of Merkel and Todd Besselaar (Jessica) of Jacksboro; his siblings, Joe Besselaar (Jane) and Maria Duncan (Larry); his grandchildren, Braydan, Braxtan, Kyler, Ethan, Priscilla and Kolyn; and his great grandchildren, Grayson and Callie.

He'd always brag about Renea's bookkeeping prowess...He said she was so organized that should be a CPA herself! He was such an intelligent man with a remarkable and yet sublime sense of humor about him. I'm certainly going to miss him and pray for the family and friends he leaves behind...Rest in peace dear friend.”
