We announce the death of Linda White of Jacksboro, Texas, who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 78. Linda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Linda will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Linda’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jarl Dean Cagle and Mary Lee Cagle (Overstreet); her significant other Joe E. White; her children, Misty Sherrod (Mitchell) and Joey White (Lisa); her brothers, Ronnie Cagle (Ann) and Bobby Cagle (Sandy); and her sister-in-law Nelzane White.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Coker Funeral Home (152 TX-148, Jacksboro, TX 76458). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
