He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Osteen and Shirley Osteen; his brother Mike; his nephew Tyler; and his grandparents, G. A. and Marjorie Jackson.

He is survived by: his wife Lana Osteen (Phillips); his children, Chloe Osteen and Grayson Osteen (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Jaxon, Rayden, Baylor, Kensington and Kameryn; and his siblings, Melody McAnear (Kelly) and Mark Osteen (Trena).

The funniest guy. I always felt Mitchell and Lana had a joy for life and great sense of humor in common. When I heard they had married, I was glad for both of them. I’m imagining a life filled with laughter and fun times. I am praying for comfort for Mitchell’s family.♥️”
