He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Albert Steel and Edna Marie Steel (Sellers); and his siblings, Leon and Georgia. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Steel; his children, Katrina Phillips (Dennis), Edward Steel Jr. (Erica) and Eddie Steel (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Fabio Salcina, Ashley Boggs, Morgan Benham, Desirae Eden (Jimmy), Taylor Bint (Brice), Tyler Steel (Kathryn), Gamble Moore (Madison), Dalton Steel, Jake Pullig (JoAnna) and Megan Steel; and his sisters, Virginia Spencer and Cecilia Fox. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
