He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lewis and Marie Lewis of Jacksboro; his nephew Harold D. Nix; his half-sister Dolores Pennington; and his niece Lana Posey.
He is survived by: his wife Susie Lewis; his sons, Doug (Kati) of Shallowater, Shane (Jana) of Corinth and Cody (Jennifer) of Corinth; his grandchildren, Hudson, Jackson, Cannon, KlaraJane, Jorja, Jake, Emma and Clayton; his sister Kathy (Ricky Hyde) of Stephenville; his niece Christi (John); his great-niece Haley Bloomer; his nieces, Jo and Pam; and his great-nephew Bradley.
