He was predeceased by: his parents, George Vincent and Marjorie Joyce Mather (Harding); his sister Ann Mather; and his grandson Joshua Dowdy. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Mather; his children, Karen Kennedy (Randal) of Whitehouse, Tracy Green (Craig) of Michigan, Princess Tillman of Lindale and Haig Black (Carla) of Michigan; his brother Lyle Mather of Michigan; and his grandchildren, Ryan Fade (Jesica), Taylor Epperson, Amanda Foley (Mike), Casey Flannery (Justin), Tyler George (Kylene), Jeremy Black (Autumn), Kaitlyn Keck (Sean), Jared Black (Alyssa) and Preston Scott. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
