Gary Neil Kirby Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2025, at the age of 85, Gary Neil Kirby of Jacksonville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Kirby and Dorothy Imogene Kirby (Smith); his son Paul Neil Kirby; and his brother Kirby. He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Carpenter Kirby of Mixon; his children, Charles Neil Kirby (Amy) of Jacksonville and Kathy Kirby Whitus (Duane) of Bullard; his sister Laura Gene Newburn (Billy James) of Bullard; and his grandchildren, Paige Nicole Molina (Kirby) of Tyler, Kamey Kirby of Jacksonville, Parker May of Jacksonville, Macy McCullough of Muscogee, Oklahoma and Cahl McCullough of Winnie. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Autry Funeral Home - Jacksonville (1025 E Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
