He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd "Sonny" Skinner and Barbara Jean Morgan; his wife Renita Strickland; his siblings, Linda Page, Carl Perkins and Terry Williamson; and his nieces, Christy Dawn Wilson and Amanda Clorice Fridell.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kristi Grantham (Justin) and Melissa Skinner; his siblings, Eddie Perkins, Joann Moore and Susan Strozier; his grandchildren, Trevor Vanliew, Olivia Powell and Colter Grantham; and his nephew Lloyd.
