In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Marilyn had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Marilyn may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrill Hall and Dorothy Hall of Seattle, Washington.; her siblings, Gary Hall and Carolyn Rusch; her husband Charles; and her children, Michael Hicks and Malinda Mead.

She is survived by: her son Kenneth; her daughter-in-law Sheila Hicks; and her sister Tamra Baker. She is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

“Kenneth & Sheila, May Our Lord strengthen your family during this painful time. Both your parents were kind to me & my family when I worked with your dad at D&Z . Marilyn would send me Peppridge Farm pies along with “Hick’s” lunch, on occasion! Tiffin & I had some really fun times with them. We enjoyed Hick’s dry wit, and Marilyn’s shared stories as an international dancer! Such a delightful, Christian couple; now they can be in their heavenly home.. Tiffin & Vencene Reed , Texarkana, TX”
