It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha Gray of Jacksonville, Texas, born in Tecula, Texas, who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Everett and Susie Clark (Ross); her husband James Gray of Rusk; and her siblings, Wilma Bolton, Nawasa "Sis" Hamilton, Jane Freeze, Mary Shamblin, Emma Hall, Edsel Clark, Howard Clark and Charles Clark.
She is survived by: her children, James Gray Jr. (Alison) of Grapevine, Susan Phillips (Steve) of Keller, Sandra Stahlman (R. K.) of Kaufman and Amy Beatty (Bryan) of Sulphur Springs; her granddaughter Jessica Hudson (Chris); and her children, Robert Stahlman (Heather), Rebecca Alberts (Brian), Anna Chapman (Mike), Lorena McMahon (Ross), Nick Gray (Adri), Lucas Gray (Janae), Everett Beatty (Samantha) and Jesse Beatty. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rather than customary condolences, the family requests donations be made to the Tecula Cemetery Association at 271 County Road 4901 Jacksonville, TX 75766.
