He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Smith and Bonnie Smith (Brown); and his brother Charles Smith. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Smith of Jacksonville; and his brother Robert Smith (Claudia) of Crystal Beach, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
