With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jim Marlowe of James, Texas, born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2025 at the age of 80. He is survived by: his close friends, Ward Halla and Ken Coutant; his children, Amy Fifer and Jeb Marlowe; his grandchildren, Hix, Owen Fifer and Nora Marlowe; his brother Rudd Marlowe; and his brothers-in-law, Ben Shurett and Scott Shurett.
