It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Norris of James, Texas, born in Lamesa, Texas, who passed away on March 17, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Norris and Margaret Norris; and his brother Richard Norris. He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Norris; his children, Debbie, Ben Franklin of O'Donnell, Cris and Sully Norris of Lamesa; his grandchildren, Andy, Elizabeth Miers of Midland, Salone, James Britt of Midland, Jack Ben Franklin of Tahoka, Tucker Norris of Dallas, Abby and Dalton Dornburg of Goliad; and his great grandchildren, Etta Jane Miers, Rhett Miers, Reid Miers, Clark Britt and Wallace Britt.
