He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Ramsey and J. Eugene Shrieve; his sister Betty Ayers; his children, Debbie Shrieve and Brad Shrieve; and his great grandchild Miley Beleele.

He is survived by: his sisters, Margie and Marjorie; the mother of his children Wanda L. Shrieve; his wife Annie Shrieve; his daughter Tracy Shrieve; his stepdaughters, Annette Mills and Lacey Page; his daughter-in-law Michelle Shrieve; his grandchildren, Amanda Drake (Beleele), Debbie Shrieve, Jennifer Shrieve (Smith), Jessica Shrieve, Jason Shrieve, Brad Shrieve, Shari Bingham, Robin Bingham, Tracy Shrieve, Peyton Page, Forrest Page and Lacey Page; Eugene Shrieve. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Texas Children's Hospital.
