With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Barnett of James, Texas, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on January 6, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parent Holmes Russell "Barney" Barnett (Helen Williams Barnett); and his brother Jack Barnett. He is survived by : his wife Jayme Lu Braniff; his daughter Nicole; his son-in-law John White; his daughter Meagan Barnett; his sisters, Kay Braband and Kim Bolt (Steve); his grandchildren, Weston, Kinley and Kate White; his siblings-in-law, Mike Braniff (Stacy), Martin, David Braniff and Chris Forcier (Rick); and his aunt Bonnie Dues. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
