It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mike Monnot of James, Texas, born in Gridley, California, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Mike departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mike may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mike leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Sandra Genter, Paula Noone and Larry Monnot.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Shelter #3 Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
