He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rhodes; his children, Scott Clayton Nicholson (Ann) of Fulton, Mark Randall Nicholson (Charyce) of Spring, Amy Rhodes Nicholson Wright (Keith Wright) of Zavalla and Matthew McCall Nicholson of Brookeland; and his adoptive son Ben Hancock of Jasper. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
