Herbert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert S. Loftin, Sr. and Margaret Slaydon Loftin; and his sisters, Frances Kees and Marilyn Massey. He is survived by: his wife Denise Loftin; his sons, James Loftin (Shannon) of Lafayette, Timothy Loftin of Houston and Stephen Howard (Rute); his daughter-in-law Angela Loftin; his sisters, Wanda Bennett (Graham) of Jasper and Jane Morgan (Carl) of Jasper; and his brothers-in-law, Danny Massey and Arthur Kees. He is also survived by five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.
