He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Newman and Elizabeth Newman; his wife Leona Marie Newman; and his siblings, Bud, Kay Moffitt, Lois Tracy and Louise Mayes.
He is survived by: his sister Libby Weyant; and his children, Ken, Brent and Ronda Rosamond. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
