He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Thomas and Serilda Thomas; his siblings, Marcel, C. J., Elzie, A. J. Thomas, Annie Holmes, Josey Harris, Dorthy Nash, Christine Bluford and Luvenia Thorn; and his son Jessie A. Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Mae Ella Kyle; his daughters, Brenda Thomas Samuel (Jesse) and Patricia Kenebrew (Fredrick); his grandchildren, Deltrick A. Thomas, Ashley J. Samuel, Jessica E. Martin, Britaimy Thomas, Ke'Andra Davis and Jasmine Yarbrough; and his caregiver Kristi Agan. He is also survived by great-grands, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
