He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Hilton Lively, Sr. and Cynthia Vee Byerly Lively. He is survived by: his son Joseph "Joey" Lively-Taylor of Katy, Texas; and his sisters, Edith Lewis (Ernest) of Jasper and Delia Lively Woods of Jasper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
