He was predeceased by: his wife Angela Shaw Beatty; his mother Addarine Beatty; his siblings, Patrick Beatty Sr., Floria Beatty and Gloria Fowler; his grandparents, Ennis and Ora D. Beatty; his aunts, Irene Limbrick, Girtha Larkin, Earlie M. Beatty and Sarah Lou Beatty; and his uncle Kenneth Ray Beatty.
He is survived by: his daughter Kenyatta L. Shaw-Carter (Lamond); his stepson Antonio L. Shaw Sr.; his siblings, Kenneth Beatty, Jermaine Beatty (Jennifer), Miranda Beatty and Shonda Collins (Paul Sr.); his aunts, Gracie Williams, Flora Beatty and Gloria Siggers; his grandchildren, LaKenyah Carter, Antonio Shaw Jr., Daverryon Shaw, Davin Cannon, Caden Samuels, LaKhyjah Carter, Karniesha Jackson, Lyric Shaw Jenkins, Alexus Evans and Kamia Shaw Murphy; his great grandchildren, Galayia and Gianna Smith; and his close friend Judy Sells. He is also survived by nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends.
