He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Raymond Lane, Sr. and Mary Mailhos Lane Sprouse; and his sister Carlene Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Kim Lane of The Woodlands, Texas; his children, Jenny Garza (Stephen) of Cypress, Texas and Jordan Lane of Houston, Texas; his siblings, Odis Lane (Kathy) of Kirbyville, Texas, Christine Shofner of Grapeland and Dorothy Franks (Earl) of Merryville, LA; his brothers-in-law, Danny Johnson of Starks, LA and Brian Brindle of Jasper; and his grandson Andrew Garza.
