She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Gary Sr. of Jasper; her parents, LW Stringer and Bertha Parker Stringer of Jasper; her stepmother Lillie Stringer; and her siblings, Ruben Stringer and Nancy Pickering.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Gary (Bob) of Jasper, Kellie Sims (Ronnie) of Kirbyville and Stephanie Northrop (Tom) of Baton Rouge, LA.; her grandchildren, Justin Northrop (Amy), Taylor Sims (Sunee), Tanner Sims (Charmi), Rebekah Northrop and Kiley Gary; and her great grandchildren, Weston Kelly Sims and Carter James Sims.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home (2755 N Wheeler St, Jasper, TX 75951). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at the Weeks Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bishop Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 5082 Hwy 63 East, Jasper, Tx 75951 or to the East End Volunteer Fire Department 1165 FM 1738, Jasper, Tx 75951.
