With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Drake of Jasper, Texas, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on May 31, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Drake and Mary Drake of Virginia; his brother Edgar Drake; and his brother-in-law Angus "Scotty" Marshall. He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Foster "Bobbye"; his wife Barbara Elaine Drake of Jasper, TX; his children, Richard Drake II (Jennifer), Stephen Drake (Laura) and Debbie Drake Heusi (Michael); his grandchildren, Emily Dondzila, Ashlee Drake Schaper (Chris), Richard Drake III, Brittany Drake, Sarah Drake Dierksheide (William), Rachel Drake, David Heusi, Kellie Butemeyer (Ethan) and Lauren Heusi; his great grandchildren, JB and Emmett Schaper; his sisters, Connie Marshall and Susan Chapman (Jack); and his sisters-in-law, Donna Sparks and Norma Rice (Jim).
