She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Aarant and Robie Aarant; and her husband L. H. "Luke" Martindale. She is survived by : her children, Mark Martindale (Kathy) of Jasper, Texas and Marsha Rivers (Wayne) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her brother James Aarant (Lucille) of Tyler, Texas; her grandchildren, Courtney Parker (Josey), Jonathan Rivers (Vivi), Clark Martindale (Jessica), Lauren Fry (Stephen) and Channing Riggs (Alex); and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Diego, Lucas, Raphael, Felix, Jase Henry, Caleb and Micah. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Little Hope Cemetery (1155 Co Rd 142, Jasper, TX 75951).
