She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Clyde Smith and Myrtle Faye Smith; her husband John Maynard; and her children, Howard Maynard, Benjamin Maynard and Juanita Pierce.
She is survived by: her children, Frances VanHouten, Shirley Roberts, Sarah Maynard, Horace "Buddy" Maynard and Billy Joe Maynard. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
