With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Geraldine (Deana) Mitchell in Jayton, Texas, who passed away on September 20, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aloyious Herman "Lush" Jungman and Ollie Katherine Jungman (Pearce); her son Jack Mitchell (Michelle) of Swenson; her siblings, A. Jerry Jungman and Linda Jungman Swink; and her nephew Ned Swink.
She is survived by: her son Ike Mitchell of Swenson; her sister Sybil Jungman Voss (Joe) of Old Glory; and her nieces and nephews, Jack Hawkins of Breckenridge, Jan Harris of Old Glory, Julie Hull (Garry) of Stanton, Kala Swink Straub of Aspermont, Julie Moorhead (Scott) of Clyde and Monty Mitchell of Jacksboro. She is also survived by numerous great-nieces; great-nephews; extended family; and friends.
