He was predeceased by: his parents, D. C. Comer and Lillie Wilkins Comer; his daughter Teresa Simmons; and his sisters, Imogene'Sissy'Dickson, Jeanette Harris and Betty Lou Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Margaret Whitfield Comer; his children, Randy Comer and Tina Calloway (Brian); his siblings, Barbara Ann Stewart and Earl Wayne Comer (Betty Lou); his grandchildren, Jessica Comer, Matthew Calloway and Courtney Calloway; and his great grandchildren, Trinity and Amilya. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Over the years Bobby and Jo Margaret also worked in many fundraising and charity events sponsored by their church.
