He was predeceased by: his parents, Collins Colquit Clampet and Ruby Lee Murphy Clampet; his siblings, James C. "Jay" Clampet, Robert W. Clampet, Donald R. Clampet and Carolyn Clampet Cooper; his father-in-law Michael W. Weekly; his brothers-in-law, Rodney Williams and Richard E. Weekly; and his nephew Danny Stough.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce "Mickey" Weekly Clampet; his children, Amanda Clampet, Erica Clampet Briggs (Josh Doyal), Ashley Clampet Brown (Jason Brown), Megan Childs (Kolton Phillips), Natasha Kaminski (Zach Kaminski) and Daphne Lay; his siblings, Ricky Clampet (Becky), Linda Pappa (Johnny), Betty Williams and Penny Lewis (Michael); his sister-in-law Toni Clampet; and his grandchildren, DaKarai, Yasmeen, Kye, Rylan, Jaden, Camden, Aiden, Emory, Caystin, Connor, Wyatt, Weston, Bradley and Christy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
