It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Laster of Jefferson, Texas, who passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kathy Laster to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Thomas Laster, Sr. and Mary Hartzo Laster; her son Jonathan Laster; and her sister Debra Jo Laster (Jane). She is survived by : her daughter Amanda Lovelady (Jimmy); her siblings, Sandra Daniels, Donna Murphy (Rodney), Judy McLendon (Gregg) and Phillip Laster (Cathy); and her grandchildren, Madison and Alexis Lovelady. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to The Faith Tabernacle Church in Jefferson, Texas.
