She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmo S. Melton and Fannie M. Waldrop Melton; her husband Joe Vaughan; her grandson Dustin Weeks; and her siblings, Ida Sanders, Floyd Melton and Bill Melton.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Wilson (Stacy), Ricky Wilson (Jennifer) and Eric Wilson (Jana); her grandchildren, Devin Wilson, Jamie Wilson (Kelly), Brandi Wilson Gallegos (Justin), Taylor McQueen, Whitney Wilson and Weston Wilson; and her sisters, Iva Ingram (Jim) and Helen Gonzales.
