He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Faye Booker Hensley and Curtis Neal Hensley; his sister Darla Hensley Gortney; and his parents-in-law, Jimmy McKenzie and Sandra McKenzie.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Erika Darnielle (Zach), Ashley Brown (Brian), Braeden Hensley (Natalie), Josh Brown (Erika) and Nathan Colton (Maddison); his siblings, Jeffrey Hensley (Christine) and Debbie Davis (Chuck); his sisters-in-law, Susan Rushing (Andra), Jami Lee (Philip) and Felicia Walker (Dusty); and his grandchildren, Maiya, Axl, Brookie, Finn, Dax, Palmer, Rowyn, Tinley, Nash, Jude, Beau and Olivia. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (943 Polk St, Mansfield, LA 71052). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
