He is survived by: his children, Kevin Edwards (Mitzi) of Greenwood, Louisiana and Renee Carver of Grandview; his grandchildren, Miranda Dobson, Isaac Carver, Sharon Martinez, Cristina Fonseca, Patricia White, Jacque (Matt Greenwood), Roger Smithee (Crystal) and Cliff Smithee; his great grandchildren, Jazmine, Luis, Maya, Cali, Carlos Jr., Audrey, Christian, Leighton, Elizabeth, Hannah, Judah and Ruth Ann; and his close friend Copper.
