He is survived by: his wife Ola Gipson Matus; his children, Chuck Matus of San Antonio and Suzanne Hix of Zorn, Texas.; his grandchildren, Jennifer Sachs, Dani Riedell, Stephen Matus, Carrie Welch and Morgan Gualy; his sister Betty Page of Marble Falls; Cayden, Brek, Emerson, Connor, Graham, Henry, Luke and Charlie.
