With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kay Wright of Johnson City, Texas, born in Austin, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 5, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kay Wright to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie W. Burk and Thelma Burk (Watson); her brothers, Carl Allen Burk and Wade Burk; and her daughter-in-law Nicole Wright.
She is survived by: her husband James Wesley Wright; her sons, Wesley J. Wright, Richard A. Wright and Steven J. Wright (Misti Killingsworth); her grandchildren, Evan J. Wright, Kelly M. Crosby (Jacob), Colton Wright and Caleb Wright (Emily); her great grandchildren, Jase and Jameson; and her brother Larry Burk (Helen). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and a host of dear friends.
