She was predeceased by: her daughter Lauren Christine Bates Naddy; and her parents, Charles Burchfield and Bettie Burchfield. She is survived by: her husband Curtis Bates; her son Josh Battles; her grandchildren, Carter, Clay, Vivian Naddy, Max, Henry Romero, Dylan, Electa, Bailey and Caleb Battles; and her sisters, Libby Hewitt, Amy Owen and Sally Doty.
