With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rebecca Brown Patrick of Karnack, Texas, born in Carthage, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2025 at the age of 71. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nettie June Hammett and Otha Alvie Brown; her sister Brenda Brown Biever; and her nephew Adam Biever. She is survived by: her husband Zachary Allen Patrick of Karnack; her children, Jay Koenig (Christy) of Liberty Hill, Jamie Austin of Denton, Jeff Koenig (Alejandra) of Denton and Katie Patrick of Carthage; her brother Steve Brown (Lisa) of Flagstaff, Arizona; her grandchildren, Jordan Koenig (Laine), Craig Koenig (Ally), Leah Koenig, Jack Ingram, Faith Austin, Hope Austin, Morgan Koenig and Aubrey Koenig; her great grandchild Jack Ingram; and her niece Amanda Biever-Levonius (Austin). She is also survived by loving cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hawthorn Funeral Home (307 W Wellington St, Carthage, TX 75633). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Assembly of God (1501 W Sabine St, Carthage, TX 75633).
