She was predeceased by : her parents, Augusta Anna Orth Jauer and Rudolph Christian Jauer; her husband Allen Ben Jonas; and her brothers-in-law, Jesse Lee Jonas and Nolan Alton Jonas.

She is survived by : her children, Gale Ann Jonas Halliburton (Richard) and Steve Allen Jonas (Michelle); her grandchildren, Cassidy Jonas, Sharon Halliburton, Christopher Halliburton and Lindsey Jonas (Luke Doreck); and her sisters-in-law, Alva Jonas and Mary Louise Jonas.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel (115 S Esplanade St, Karnes City, TX 78118). A prayer was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (408 S Davidson St, Karnes City, TX 78118). A burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at the Karnes City Cemetery.
