He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Plowman and Elizabeth Plowman; and his sister Betty Fisbeck (Weldon). He is survived by: his wife Janice Plowman; his children, Glenn Plowman, Lisa Gregg (Jerry Gaubert) and Tiffany Plowman (Tony Green); his grandchildren, Louise, Leah, Aiden Plowman, Grace, Addison Gregg and Elliott Green; and his brothers, Donald Plowman (Patricia) and Keith Plowman (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund or the Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation in Art's memory, to support continued research toward a cure.
