He was predeceased by: his mother Martha Slack; his stepfather Jack Slack; his children, Debbie Weber and Billy Ellenburg; his sisters, Betty Hildebrant and Nora Mae Ellenburg; and his father Lem Ellenburg.

He is survived by: his wife Rosa Ellenburg; and his children, Betty Andrade, Charlene Aragon, Cheryl Baptista and Charlie Ellenburg.
