He was predeceased by: his parents, Bentley Usey, Sr. and Carolyn "Connie" Usey; and his brother Bentley Usey, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Karen Usey; his children, Darby J. Usey, Jr. (Tara) and Kelli Hotz (Darryl); his grandchildren, Darby J. Usey III, Torrie Usey, Lexie Usey, Dylan Hotz and Kaden Hotz; his sisters, Lisa Usey Majorie and Rachel Simmons; his sister-in-law Melinda Usey; his nephews, Chad Usey, Cory Boudreaux, Michael Simmons, Jr. and Morgan Simmons; and his niece Meagan Simmons.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harvey - Mothe Funeral Homes (2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA 70058). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Westlawn Memorial Park (1225 Whitney Ave., Terrytown, LA 70056). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Faustina Catholic Church (28102 FM 1093, Fulshear, TX 77441).
