He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Engel Guntle and Aline Arnold; and his brothers, David Calvin Guntle and Roger Alan Guntle. He is survived by: his wife Norma Sims; his siblings, Deedy Bean, Sandy Cox (Michael) and Carl Arnold Guntle (Carol); his sister-in-law Carol Lynn Guntle; and his stepchildren, Rene' Jones (Buddy), Lisa Parker (Scott) and Timothy Sims (Michelle). He is also survived by 6 step-grandchildren, 6 step-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christian Family Church (5615 Queenston Blvd, Houston, TX 77084).
