He was predeceased by: his daughter Carey Reid; his brother-in-law Gary Marks; and his parents, Robert Piotter and Violet Piotter. He is survived by: his wife Irene Piotter (Carey); his daughter Sonja Piotter; his son-in-law Stephen Reid; his grandchildren, Brooke and Liam Reid; his siblings, Steve Piotter (Marcia) and Patty Marks (Jeff Gyde); and his brother-in-law Floyd Carey (Virginia). He is also survived by five nephews, four nieces, and one grandnephew.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to Project C.U.R.E. in honor of Doug's generous spirit and compassionate heart.
